About Mara Media Co.

Mara Media Co is a Central Queensland based photography and videography business, capturing the people, horses, brands and moments that make up the western way of life.

Behind the camera is Jodie Mara - a photographer, videographer, horse owner, competitor with a genuine understanding of the equine industry and the moments that matter within it. Outside of Mara Media Co, I'm also a mum, wife and PE teacher, and most days you'll find me juggling school, family life and horses.

From cutting pens and rodeo arenas to brand campaigns and the quieter moments behind the scenes, my approach is about capturing more than just what happened. I want to create content that reflects the atmosphere, movement and emotion of the moment - and tells a story people actually want to watch.

Videography has become a major part of Mara Media Co, with a focus on short-form, engaging content created for competitors, events, committees and western brands. Whether it is a competition run you want to keep, an event that deserves to be showcased, or content designed to make your brand stand out online, every piece is created with purpose.
